New to England, and straight with you about it
We are not going to pretend otherwise. Almost all of our work so far has been with students sitting Scottish qualifications, and we have taught fewer than 100 students based in England. That is the honest picture as we launch.
What we are not new to is maths, or the GCSE syllabus. That, we know inside out.
Maths is a universal language
A quadratic behaves the same way in Manchester as it does in Motherwell. Algebra, trigonometry, statistics: the mathematics does not change when you cross a border. What changes is the exam board, the wording of the questions and the way the papers are built. We have put our time into learning exactly those differences, so your child is taught for their board, not in general.
We know every GCSE board
GCSE Maths in England is offered by four exam boards. They follow the same national curriculum and grade from 9 down to 1, across Foundation and Higher tiers. The content is the same. The question style is not. We teach to yours.
Who it is for
We teach from Year 7 right through to GCSE. That means the Key Stage 3 years, Years 7 to 9, where strong foundations are built, and the Key Stage 4 GCSE years, Years 10 and 11, where it all counts. Wherever your child sits on that journey, we meet them there and take them forward.
Our track record so far
These results are from students sitting Scottish qualifications, which is where our experience lies so far. England is the next chapter, and the method comes with us.
